A Message from Queen's IRC Director Paul Juniper

When I joined the IRC in 2006, I was appointed as Director of the Centre for a five-year term. I am delighted to report that I have been reappointed as IRC Director for an additional five years.

Paul Juniper

The IRC offers leading-edge training, and we are committed to meeting the professional development needs of practitioners in the HR, LR, and OD communities. Through our revised program evaluation, which has increased the feedback loops with participants and their organizations before, during, and after our programming, and the integration of learning objectives into our programming, to help clearly measure the learning that is taking place, we can be even more confident with the quality of our programming. Our research portfolio continues to grow, as we provide relevant articles authored by subject matter experts in our E-News and Research Briefs newsletters. Our recent HR survey, and our upcoming LR survey are further examples of the practitioner-focused work that we're doing. In addition, this year our research team will continue our practitioner interview series, capturing the perspectives of several senior-level professionals across Canada.

Our recent staff reorganization has positioned the IRC well to respond to the needs of our participants and their sponsor organizations. I hope that you'll continue to remain connected with the IRC and our work, as we continue to develop and deliver programs and research that enable next-generation leaders to champion change, resolve disputes, and align people and purpose. The next five years promise to be exciting and I look forward to continuing my work with the IRC.
