Planning Ahead: New 2011-2012 Program Planner ReleasedHighlights for Fall 2011 The 2011-2012 program season promises to be a very busy and exciting time for us at the IRC. Not only are we continuing to deliver our core programs across the country, we're also launching new LR and HR programs as part of our new certificates.
Please download our new program planner: Download New Programs in 2011 This Spring, we introduced a new program entitled Managing Unionized Environments: Living the Collective Agreement. We are offering it again this Fall - Oct 3-5 in Fort McMurray and Nov 15-17 in Kingston. Join us to learn both management and union best practices on challenging issues such as discipline, performance management, and job competition. Mastering Fact-Finding and Investigation is the first of the three new programs in our new Advanced Labour Relations Certificate. The program is being held this fall in Victoria, Oct 31-Nov 3. This new IRC program provides managers with hands-on training on how to assemble the facts of a case without worsening the situation. Learn how to plan the investigation, conduct interviews, and properly weigh the evidence. In November, the second program in our new Advanced Human Resources series will be launched. Talent Management will run in Toronto from November 1-2. This program will give you a roadmap to building an effective talent management strategy that will turn a potential vulnerability into a competitive edge. We will teach you to identify the right mix of individuals, plug gaps, and keep the pipeline filled with skilled and motivated workers all aligned with corporate goals. |
